Ok, I know the Israelis won't go for this, but...Whadaya think?
1) Forgive all Mexican debts to US, in exchange for Baja California.
2) Move Israel to Baja California, or Nuevo Israel. Pay to move Wailing Wall to Nuevo Israel.
Eh? What do you think? Eases Mexico/US tensions. Pulls the Jihadists excuses for terror, and they have to figure out the Palestinian problem.
Win/win? I think so. The Israelis have long known how to turn a desert into a prosperous nation. Jihadists have to come up with a new and transparent excuse for their acts. And we wind up with a prosperous, industrious, safe and secure neighbor!
First you gotta convince the Jews there's something "holy" about Baja California. Not easy! Ahmadinajab's been trying to do that for years. Second: it's been suggested before by Fox News in 2002. It didn't seem to raise much enthusiasm then.
The problem is that Jews love confrontation. It's in their genes. It's even in their "holy book". They'd have no-one to fight in Baja California - except a few disgruntled Mexicans. No contest.

Oh, shit, RJ! I have been espousing this for longer than four years (really), but here you and your horde of attack sparrows point out that I am thinking along the lines of dam' Fox News. I am humiliated! Ah, well...seemed like a good idea at the time.
